US Scholarships

Throughout the years, we have been developing our usa scholarship program to help some of our athletes pursue their college careers. As of today we have a large network of American Universities working with the Lisbon Tennis Academy.

Bernardo Saraiva

Bernardo graduated in 2015 from University of San Francisco. His last year, he earned ITA Senior Player of The Year. He won the 2014 USTA ITA Northwest Regional Championship doubles.

Diogo Rocha

Diogo graduated from University of Denver in 2017. He earned his best ranking of ITA #116 in Singles. He was named the 2016 Summit League Men’s Tennis Player of the Year.

Vasco Valverde

Vasco graduated from University of San Francisco in 2016. He won the 2015 USTA ITA Northwest Regional Championship doubles. He participated to the National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in doubles. Named Honorable Mention in WCC All-Academic Team.

Martim Prata

Martim is a Sophomore at University of Tennessee. He started in the Spring and closed the regular season by winning four of his final five matches. His first ITA career win came against No. 70 from Texas Tech.

Andrea Ka

Andrea graduated from University of San Francisco in 2016. She reached the quarter finals of the ITA Northwest Regionals and took home the title at Battle in the Bay Classic in both Singles and Doubles. Earned her best ranking of ITA #47 in Singles. She was also named Freshman of The Year in 2013.

Rita Pinto

Rita just finished her freshman year at Virginia Tech. She participated in both Singles and Doubles event at the ITA Atlantic Region Championships. She was ranked ITA #47 in doubles.

Simão Telo Alves

Simão Telo Alves

Simao is a Sophomore at University of Hawaii. He earned All-Big West Doubles – Second Team.

Lúcia Quitério

Lucia is a Freshman at University of Texas A&M. She recently won both Singles and Doubles title at ITA Texas Regionals.
